Writing skill is one of the most important skills, the performance of learners in other subjects is also affected by its quality.The prerequisite for writing is to acquire the skill of paragraph writing, which learning is emphasized in the elementary school.It seems that the use of fictional literature and the platforms in it can be effective in acquiring this skill.Therefore, the present study was conducted with the aim of investigating the effect of fiction literature on the learning of paragraph writing skills of sixth grade students.The method of conducting this research is a semi-experimental type of pre-test and post-test with a control group.The statistical population of the research includes all the sixth grade elementary school students in the first district of Tehran, and the statistical sample includes 60 sixth grade students who were randomly selected into two experimental (30 people) and control (30 people) groups.The experimental group and the control group were trained using a variety of fiction literature in the usual way for ten sessions.Data collection was done with a researcher-made test and checklist of basic and advanced paragraph writing skills. The validity of the tool was confirmed by teachers and professors, and its reliability was obtained with Cronbach's alpha.The results of data analysis using the analysis of covariance test showed that fiction literature improves students' paragraph writing skills at two levels: basic (F=10.989; P=0.002) and advanced (F=21.086; P=0.000) P=0) has increased significantly.Therefore, it is suggested to increase the skills of paragraph writing and knowledge writing from fiction literature Elementary students should be used.
