چکیده

پژوهش حاضر، به واکاوی کلیشه‌زدایی از آرکی‌تایپ گرگ در سه‌گانۀ گرگ ماسه‌ای، نوشتۀ آسا لیند می‌پردازد. گرگ ماسه‌ای در همراهی با دختری خردسال، با گفت‌وگوهای شاعرانه، عاطفی و فلسفی، او را به پرسشگری و بازاندیشی دربارۀ رازهای زندگی فرامی‌خواند. در این سه‌گانه، گرگ ــ‌که در بسیاری از روایت‌های کهن با خونخواری، فریبکاری و تهدید شناخته می‌شده است‌ــ به موجودی خردمند، مهربان، بازیگوش و آسیب‌پذیر دگرگون می‌شود. پژوهش حاضر با روش کیفی، ماهیت تحلیلی‌ـ‌توصیفی و رویکرد تفسیری‌ـ‌هرمنوتیکی، برپایۀ مدل شش‌مرحله‌ای تحلیل تماتیک بازتابی انجام شده است. پس از کدگذاری واحدهای معنایی، هفت تم اصلی شناسایی شد: گرگ، راهنمای فلسفی و عاطفی؛ گرگ، نماد طبیعت؛ شکستن دوگانۀ خیر/شر؛ گرگ، آینۀ رشد کودک؛ طبیعت، پناهی امن و پویا برای ژرف‌اندیشی؛ گرگ، نیروی آفرینشگر کیهانی؛ و سیال‌سازی نقش‌ها و نشانه‌های جنسیتی. بر پایه یافته‌های پژوهش حاضر، کلیشه‌زدایی در این سه‌گانه، بیش از آنکه به فروپاشی دوگانۀ انسان/غیرانسان بینجامد، به واژگونی و بازآرایی دوگانه‌های سنتی منجر شده است. مفاهیمی مانند «تغذیۀ کیهانی»، «هیچ‌کاری»، «سکون تأملی» و پذیرش «سایه»، با ارزش‌های اکولوژیک و پساانسانگرایانه همخوانی دارد و زبان شاعرانه، تصویرپردازی طبیعت، عاطفه، شگفتی و ژرف‌اندیشی دربارۀ هستی، سویۀ غنایی اثر را برجسته می‌کند. با وجود این، آرمانگرایی رمانتیک اثر، گاه پیچیدگی اکوسیستم‌ها، سویه‌های ویرانگر طبیعت و تراژدی‌های انسانی را به زیبایی‌شناسی شاعرانه فرو می‌کاهد؛ از این روی، با اینکه این سه‌گانه، نقد شاعرانه‌ای بر شتاب و مصرف‌گرایی دنیای مدرن و الگوی سازنده‌ای برای آموزش ارزش‌های محیط‌‌‌زیستی به کودکان و نوجوانان است، برای رویارویی آنان با پیچیدگی‌های جهان معاصر، نیازمند خوانشی انتقادی و متوازن است. از سوی دیگر، نباید تفاوت‌های فرهنگی خوانندگان را بر نوع برداشت آنان از این‌گونه کلیشه‌شکنی‌ها نادیده گرفت.

Ecological Romanticism and the Destereotyping of the Wolf Archetype in the Sand Wolf Trilogy

This study examines the destereotyping of the wolf archetype in Åsa Lind’s The Sand Wolf trilogy. Accompanying a young girl, the Sand Wolf engages her in poetic, emotional, and philosophical dialogues that encourage questioning and reflection on the mysteries of life. In the trilogy, the wolf—traditionally associated in many ancient narratives with bloodthirstiness, deception, and threat—is transformed into a wise, kind, playful, and vulnerable being. Using a qualitative, descriptive-analytical design and an interpretive-hermeneutic approach, the study draws on the six-phase model of reflexive thematic analysis. Coding of semantic units yielded seven major themes: the wolf as a philosophical and emotional guide; the wolf as a symbol of nature; the disruption of the good/evil binary; the wolf as a mirror of the child’s development; nature as a safe and dynamic space for profound reflection; the wolf as a creative cosmic force; and the fluidization of gender roles and signs. The findings suggest that destereotyping in the trilogy does not so much dissolve the human/nonhuman binary as reverse and reconfigure traditional binaries. Concepts such as “cosmic nourishment,” “doing nothing,” “contemplative stillness,” and acceptance of the “shadow” resonate with ecological and posthumanist values, while poetic language, representations of nature, emotion, wonder, and existential reflection foreground the work’s lyrical dimension. However, the trilogy’s romantic idealism sometimes reduces the complexity of ecosystems, nature’s destructive dimensions, and human tragedy to poetic aesthetics. Thus, although the trilogy offers a poetic critique of modern acceleration and consumerism and provides a constructive model for teaching environmental values to children and adolescents, it requires a critical and balanced reading. Cultural differences among readers should also be considered, as they may shape interpretations of such acts of stereotype disruption.
